RIAD Congress 2016: Introductory Day

Reflections on the access to justice gap and a view on legal protection in the old and new world (s).

 

Delegates will hear about the Canadian experience with filling the access to justice gap, a discussion panel will give insights what is happening globally in the legal world and how big data will help to project the outcome of legal disputes. You will have the opportunity to hear about and interact with innovators in the area of legal protection in a smaller and more personal setting. The day will close with a networking cocktail and you can book your dinner in a small group in one of the restaurants we selected.

This session focuses on two issues with regard to new trends: firstly, it introduces entrepreneurs and their innovative projects, secondly, it looks at the future of legal issues, e.g. how big data is used to project the outcome of disputes. RIAD Congress 2016: Exploration Day

Sharing economy, potential and solutions for access to justice. 

 

After experiencing new trends in legal protection, delegates explore how digitalization and social media have brought to life new forms of businesses such as Airbnb, BlaBlaCar or Uber. Discussion panels assess the impact and the potential of the sharing economy, and the influence digitalization and globalization have on the legal area, its users and providers. Delegates discuss problems, which the legal industry is likely to face and work out solutions. The conference concludes with a gala evening.
