About the Peter Roberts Memorial Lecture series

 

The Peter Roberts Memorial Lecture is an annual lecture given by global experts, organised by Compassion in World Farming. Previous speakers include:

 

- Dr Rajendra Pachauri, Chair of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, gave the 2008 lecture, ‘Global Warning! The Impact of Meat Production and Consumption on Climate Change’. ciwf.org/lecture08

 

- Lester Brown, environmental expert and founder of the WorldWatch Institute and Earth Policy Institute, and author of the visionary series Plan B 4.0: Mobilizing to Save Civilization. ciwf.org/lecture09
