Event Overview

6G MENA 2026 will place on 19 – 20 October, in collaboration with the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is the first time this global event is held in the UAE.

As the global conversation around 6G matures from research and conceptual debate towards standardisation and the first steps of implementation, the MENA region stands at a decisive moment. Home to some of the world's fastest and most ambitious 5G markets, the region has an opportunity to convert its early-mover advantage into genuine influence over the technologies, standards and spectrum frameworks that will define the next generation of connectivity.

Hosted in Abu Dhabi and convened by Forum Global in collaboration with the UAE's Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and Khalifa University, 6G MENA 2026 brings together regulators, policymakers, operators, vendors and the research community from across the region and around the world. Over two days the programme will examine what can be done at national, regional and global level to prepare for the rollout of 6G - spanning the 6G vision and implementation, standards and global alignment, spectrum roadmaps ahead of WRC-27, non-terrestrial networks, the AI-native technology pillars of 6G, digital inclusion and sustainability, and the security and resilience of next-generation networks.

Built around in-depth panel discussions and complemented by keynotes, fireside chats, an industry dialogue and one-to-one interviews, the format is designed to combine strategic, policy-level debate with a distinctly regional perspective and strong international and host-country voices.
